Institutional and organisational evaluation and development of capacity building plans for the public procurement system in Burundi

The assignment was conducted by 1 international and 2 local consultants. The work conducted comprised:

  • Institutional and organisational evaluation of the public procurement system in Burundi and more in-depth for each of the 5 partner organisations of the Project in Support of Improving the Public Procurement System in Burundi (« Projet d’appui à l’amélioration du système des marchés publics du Burundi »). These partner organisations were: the Public Procurement Regulation Authority (ARMP), the National Direction for Controls in Public Procurement (DNCMP) and the Public Procurement Management Units of 3 main Ministries (Agriculture, Health and Education).
  • Development of capacity building plans at institutional, organisational and individual level for each of these 5 partner organisations.
